 Worship - Music



The JCPC Music department strives to "think outside of the box" and work in innovative and exciting ways to add to the creative process of Worship via music.

Our music program consists of a Handbell Choir, a Chancel Choir, and a Children's Choir that is formed for holidays and special programs. The vision is to not stop there, but to create a Woman's Choir as well as an all Male Choir.



Music is not stagnant. It is always reinventing itself. Yes, many tunes have been done and re-done over and over again; the creative process to keep music alive is always a new frontier. For instance, to take an older Hymn of the faith, and breathe new life into it by having a new and contemporary treatment it does not lose the integrity of the song, but gives it a new, fresh delivery. This can be done through voices or instruments. Here in the JCPC Music Department, we desire to create that newness and freshness within every worship experience.
