About Us - History
John Calvin Church is a proud member of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). JCPC was organized in 1954 to serve the growing areas of east Tulsa; today our members come from thoughout the Tulsa area. The church has been at its present location since 1971. The latest edition to our church is the youth education building which was completed in 1993.

Mission Statement:
God has bound us together in the body of Christ. The Lord calls us to accept one another and to invite others to share our faith and to serve our church family, our neighborhood, and the world. Through supportive relationships, we are striving to live together in peace and harmony with interdependence on God and each other. The members of John Calvin Presbyterian Church are enthsiastic, committed, involved, caring people who are concerned with the needs of the whole church. The Lord has blessed JCPC with dedicated leaders who provide Christ-centered concern and care, which enables all people to utilize their talents for the Glory of God.
God is calling JCPC to be a church of worship, service, and fellowship. We are to witness, love, and care for each other, our neighbors, and the world. We are praying that the Holy Spirit continues to guide us in our journey of faith that we may work in harmony and be open to other viewpoints. We strive to be a missional church by supporting our local and Presbyterian missions through service, prayer, and resources. In addition, we are committed to the Acts 16:5 Initiative. We are a caring and sharing family with supportive relationships within the church. We welcome and nurture any who want to become a part of the church to serve Christ and others.
